The triptych mirror

Old triptych mirror
For this little story, the triptych was the mirror in the attic of my grandparents.
I remember that I admired it when I was a child.

When the memory of this charming mirror returned to me recently, I hastened to go find it in the family attic.

Rosary with blue beads and locket Old bottle of lavender cologne

For the present, I surround it with a few found items : an old cardboard box containing the face powder of perfumery “C. Paterson’s” (Paris-London), a bottle of lavender cologne, a rosary with blue beads, and the metal back of a vintage hairbrush.

I am so happy now, being able to admire it every day !

I too treasure the little things that my Grandmother had left me after her departure from this life....one of them is a small silver cup, which used to be used for cigarettes, but it's the size of an egg cup and has been used for so many decorating accents...spring through winter.

Are you sensing a new decorating trend lately?
I feel it coming on, but not sure what it is....
