Teddy Bear

Teddy bear in a doll's pram Old teddy bear

It is true that Teddy Bears evoke the nostalgia of childhood.
The moment I saw him in the e-boutique "Les enfants du Marais", with his worn out little face, testifying to many privileged confidences, I fell for him at once.
To give him more personality, Olivia wrapped a piece of lace around his neck and decorated it with an antique brooch.

He has found his place for the festivities of Christmas in an old doll pram brought back from the Parisian "La Brocante" of "Mamie Gâteaux".
He reminds me of the Jim Nelson quotation from the book "Teddy Bears" by Judith Miller: "Long before I grew up, my Teddy bear taught me what love really meant: being there when you're needed".
