Market Day in Sommières
Saturday morning is market day in the medieval town of Sommières.
Take the footbridge which crosses the Vidourle.
Hunt for antiques under the shade of the trees on the esplanade.
Take the street Mazelle for easier access to the market square.
Admire the stalls filled with local produce bursting with sunshine.
Sit on the terrace of Bistro Sansavino to quench your thirst or to taste the dish of the day prepared with produce from the market.
Set out again with a happy heart thanks to catchy tunes of a passing brass band.
