White Gloves

Decoration with old white leather gloves
Antiquing in the early morning on the village square, shaded by the foliage of sycamore trees, is one of my pleasures of summer.

And this morning, I strolled through the aisles before stopping in front of a stand whose dealer always has objects laden with history.
At first glance, I saw this glass jar with its outdated label "Cherry 1949," then this finely decorated paper envelope.
Within it, a beautiful pair of white leather gloves that could only seduce me.

Knowing my taste for objects with a soul, Claudine offered them to me for my greatest pleasure.

Thank you once more for a present so delicate...

I loved the flea markets in Provence~ Wonderful finds..

You are so adept at finding the best~!

I have some gloves ..old old..from my family..and am astonished at how much tinier hands seemed back then..or perhaps just the owner of my gloves hands~:)

I wonder who owned those gloves before and where she wore them? I love items with a past.

Hello Laeriss,
I understand your attraction to these beautiful white leather gloves...as I have been collecting these personal and feminine articles for many years now....you have arranged and photographed them so artistically. I love your other finds as well and wish you many more lovely summer excursions searching for items with history and a soul....
Take care, Laura

Hello,

I have just found your gorgeous blog. Thank you for sharing such beautiful treasures.

I will be back as a lovely reminder of my recent adventure at Chateau Dumas near Toulouse. How I wish I could have lingered longer and enjoyed the life of a French country woman a bit more...

Best,
Debbykay at Rose Cottage Gardens and Farm
