A garland of stars

On this first weekend of December, Christmas is making good at home.

On an old shelf I have already bargain-hunted at a flea-market, I put a carpet of dried lichen, two little bunches of eucalyptus and some branches of wild holly...

A garland of stars, made of natural bark, is hung as a festoon.

The old mirror is covered with box tree branches which have golden and silvery shimmers. It is hung above the shelf so as to remind us of the overmantel of a fireplace.
