A bag of memories

Time is the journey.

A very favorite is this old bag full of history.
It sits in my hallway on a small stool to greet travelers and to welcome them.
I found it thanks to Kristin who, during my jaunt in Aix en Provence, took me to a small flea market near her home.

The details which make it unique and endearing: original initials written by hand, leather handles and straps, the old numbered travel label.

They don't make them like that anymore! Aged to absoulute perfection. Love all the details.

Cara Laeriss,

Thank you for setting an ambiance. Your pictures are intriguing. The scent of Provence - inspiring!
I am a new blogger from Italy, Umbria. Seemingly we have interests in common - the hunt for "faded beauties".

I love all your blog posts. It's like finding a kindred spirit, the clothes, the decoration, the vintage and antique items you pick are all me. Thank you for such a joyous blog.
