It’s one of those little treasures that would illustrate a fairytale very well, as the object is so fine and delicate.
This old doll shoe was in a window with a thousand little things in a charming flea market.

The saleswoman told me forlornly: “Too bad there’s only one!” and gave it to me for a few Euros...
Back at home, I put it on a piece of bark covered with lichen and surround it with a few ivy leaves reddened by the cold. Other finds complete the scene…a decorative iron finial found on the internet and a small rusty bottle carrier brought back from a weekend in Luberon.

Beautiful, perfection, something so simple should be so dinve, and all the better that there was only one. Adds emotion, you know?
