Mini Almond Cakes

On a rainy autumn Sunday, lazing at home and being tempted by this recipe for mini almond cakes.

Here's the recipe :

Preheat oven to 160° C (Th 4/5). In a saucepan, melt 90 gr of butter over medium heat. In a bowl, mix 125 gr of sugar and 40 gr of flour. Add 60 gr of ground almonds and the melted butter. Stir into the preparation 3 egg whites, unbeaten, then 25 gr almonds, mix well.
Fill six mini cake pans with a tablespoon of batter each and bake 40 minutes.

great looking enamel candle holder. it would be fun to make the almond cookies,but a little hard to decipher the proportions. Bestest,Denise

Oh my, another yummy item to bake. I just baked a banana bread with another wheat bread in the oven. You make it all look so pretty on the table!
