An armful of tulips

I put an armful of tulips on the chest drawers in my bedroom. They are in a stamped jar "RAC" I bought a log time ago.

I add a "bunch of candles" and a garland of old brass roses.

Since the weather is fine I feel like opening the drawers and taking trimmings out. I imagine a little necklace.

A little trick to cover the time-worn marble of an old chest of drawers :
wrap it with linen.

It is time for breakfast

It is time for breakfast and it reminds us of our breakfasts of long ago, the breakfasts of our childhood.

There is nothing to say while sitting in front of a nice mug of hot chocolate.
Nothing except... enjoy ! A blessed moment since it can happen again every morning !

I lay these delights on a folding table I bargain-hunted at Castries (Hérault, France).

I bought some "croissants" at the village nearby and now it is time to serve this delicious chocolate since it is already 8 o'clock.

The old clock was bought at Boisseron (Hérault, France). But its hands were broken. No matter ! Two leaves from an oak tree from my garden will give it a natural aspect.

Remembrance of Autumn.
The old leaves have now the colour of the ground. A colour that is suitable for the dial and the topic of the day : chocolate and cream.

The cherished teddy bear in a heart-shaped basket is a childhood memory.

No good breakfast without sweetness and delights.
So... Bon appétit !

The trunk filled with treasures.

I have already revealed its beautiful crown, it is time to discover Pampille's other treasures now !

I put them very delicately in a wickerwork trunk, I cannot unwrap them since they are so cute.
I admire them one by one ; they are so delicate in this gradation of grey.

My eyes are filled with stars.
I enjoy this moment.

Thank you so much Pampille for all those treasures.

How to play with crowns !

As I was staying in Paris during the holiday season, I went to Cèdre Rouge a store located at Châtelet, Avenue Victoria.
I was kindly welcomed and I brought back three white ceramic candlesticks and of course a nice memory of this day.

I adorn them with little trimmed with ribbon things I have made myself and I add a card sent by Fifi.
A number locket, a heart with printed lace and pendant stones.

I have just recieved a parcel in which I happily discover a crown you have certainly recognized !

I add it immediately to my crowns for fun.

I combine an old partition I found at Anduze (Gard).

A "House Doctor" cover is protecting this special gift.

Many thanks to Fifi and Pampille.

Love, love, love...

Let's start this new year with love ?!

Snowy hyacinthes

The glass tealight holders and the sweet box are used as nice vases for the hyacinths.
They stand for simplicity.
I prefer them white during winter.

They are for you and I wish you a happy new year.

I have had a lot of pleasure to share my passion for decoration, nature and other little things with you over the past few months...

And I would like to thank you for this exchange.
I had the good fortune to discover this with you !

A treasure of delicacies

I thank my friends Nathalie and Yann from Wattrelos, Nord-Pas de Calais (in the North of France, near Belgium).
They have sent me nice surprise :
A treasure of delicacies from their Christmas Village !

A gingerbread and a heart-shaped marzipan cake with almonds from the Dandoy cookie factory (Brussels).

We are bound to have a delicious afternoon tea !

I was offered a beautiful doll "Sainte Lucie" for Christmas, thank you so much Mummy !
